Date milkshakes may sound different, but they are extremely tasty. This simple date milkshake recipe is sure to be a weekly staple in your home.

All you need are some dates and a bit of milk to make this amazing recipe from the Middle East!

Add dates, milk, and milk powder to a blender.

Blend until smooth, about 30-40 seconds.

Serve with chopped dates or nuts on top.

I like to use whole milk for this recipe, but you can also use soy milk or almond milk.

Mejdool dates are highly recommend for their soft texture and sweet flavor.

If using other dates that aren't as soft, soak in warm water for a few minutes to soften before blending.
