Ingredients

For the Fries:

  • 250 grams halloumi cheese usually its in a block
  • Vegetable oil for frying enough to fill about 1/2 inch of a medium sized frying pan

For the Dip

  • 1/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon sumac

For the Toppings:

  • Chopped coriander
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds

Instructions

For the Fries:

  • Cut the halloumi cheese into ‘fries’.
  • Fry the halloumi fries on medium high heat for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Set aside.

For the Dip:

  • Mix the greek yogurt and sumac until full incorporated.

Assembling the halloumi fries:

  • Drizzle the halloumi fries with sumac yogurt dip, and then top with pomegranate seeds and chopped coriander.
  • Serve immediately.
