This Polyjuice Potion is perfect for your next Halloween or Harry Potter themed party. Can you tell I’m super excited about Halloween this year? I’ve been ‘brewing’ up the idea for this potion for the past couple of weeks, and I’m so excited to share it with you. It totally does look like a magical potion, doesn’t it? 🙂
What do you need to make the ‘real’ Polyjuice Potion?
These are the ingredients that Hermione uses to make the very complicated Polyjuice Potion for their spying mission on Slytherins. Doesn’t seem appetizing at all, right? Don’t worry, scroll down just a bit to see the delicious ingredients for Polyjuice Potion that’s perfect for muggles!
- Lacewing flies, stewed for 21 days.
- Powdered bicorn horn
- Shredded boomslang skin
- A bit of the person, that you want to turn into (typically hair)
What do you need to make Polyjuice Potion for ‘muggles’?
- Lime jello
- Pineapple juice
- Sprite or 7 up
- 1 cup kiwi juice
See, that sounds really yummy right? 😀
So what does Polyjuice Potion taste like?
According to the books, the real Polyjuice Potion tastes like overcooked cabbage. Which is, um, so not appetizing. But worry not! My Polyjuice Potion recipe tastes like a delicious lime pineapple fizzy drink. The kids would really love it, but I think it would be very popular with older fans of Harry Potter too.
